Harold glit is a French
photographer, born in Paris in 1965.
He discovers photography at the age of 18 when he received his first camera.
While Harold glit's work include various subjects (reportage, landscapes,) he is
mostly known for his pictures of women.
Some of the women he
photographs are professional models or actresses. But most of his models are simply
women who share the photographer's interest in black & white photography.
Regardless of the model background, Harold feels that the success of working with
a model is all about establishing a complicity to reveal the subject's true self,
to picture a "moment preserved" which will never be again.

States.
In May of 2005, Harold Glit exhibited "American Nudes" (www.fepn-arles.com/expo.html)
at the Hotel du Musee. Arles'fame exceeds the borders of France thanks to famous painters
who found inspiration there such as Vincent Van Gogh and Picasso and the city's rich
history made some of its monuments part of the World Heritage by UNESCO.
All of his printed work
is done by Pierre-Louis Giannetti (a.k.a Pilou) from professional black and white
laboratory Lynx in Lyons.
